Other Charges

  • Hand unload $40.00 per hour or part thereof if applicable
  • Phone Calls $2.00 per call if made regarding pickup/delivery instructions
  • Waiting time $40.00 per hour or part thereof (first 10minutes free)
  • Cancellation Fee $ + fuel levy if driver has left premises with goods and job has been cancelled and needs to be returned, this is classed as another job and same $value of job is charged for return
  • Call in fee $15.73 inclusive of all charges, if driver has called in to pick up a delivery and job is not ready and has to leave or nothing to pick up (utes). $24.20 inclusive if load requires 2-4 tonne truck, $42.35 inclusive if load requires over 4 tonne truck.

NEW VEHICLE CLASSES FROM 1 JULY 2010

Class 1 - Motorcycles

Two-wheeled motor vehicles (including vehicles which have a trailer, fore car or side car attached)

Class 2 - Cars

Four-wheeled motor vehicles, including taxis, which are not commercial vehicles (including such vehicles which are towing a trailer or caravan

Class 3 - Light commercial vehicles

Motor vehicles that are registered for commercial use and :
(a) are two axle rigid trucks or load carrying vans or utilities, having a gross vehicle mass greater than 1.5 tonnes but not exceeding 4.5 tonnes or
(b) have spatial dimensions which are substantially consistent with the criteria in paragraph (a) above.


Class 4 - Heavy commercial vehicles

Motor vehicles that:
(a) are rigid trucks with 3 or more axles
(b) are articulated trucks
(c) are buses
(d) are two axle rigid trucks having a gross vehicle mass greater than 4.5 tonnes
(e) are motor vehicles having a gross vehicle mass greater than 30 tonnes or
(f) have spatial dimensions which are substantially consistent with the criteria in any of paragraphs (a) to (e) above
